I found the tone in this article engaging. It wasn’t your typical boring read. It didn’t just come out and tell you what the article was going to be about. Instead it made you think. Sometimes the wording got a little confusing. However the way the article was written was the most engaging part. I also liked the metaphors he used although I'm not sure if i understood them all correctly.
I found that towards the end of the article it got a little confusing.  When he started talking about how you have to read a book that threw me off. Also when at the very end when he tell you what you have to do and how you will be doing it all semester. I didn’t understand what exactly it was you were supposed to do.

If anything about this article was engaging I would have to say the way he talked about defying rules. It kind of made him sound like a bad ass. I also found the end of the article engaging when in my opinion it sounds as if he was comparing writing to playing basketball.
I like to watch basketball but I’m not very good with basketball terms. So in the very being of the article where it starts of with a very descriptive basketball game which sounded exciting. I was completely lost and could picture anything they were describing. But that’s not the articles fault it’s mine for not knowing enough about basketball.

In this article I found it engaging when he talked about the human face and how hard it is to make it human like in animation. I like the example about the million-sided polygon and how it had a million angles. As it appears you think it is getting closer to being like a circle when in reality it is getting father and father away. And he uses that to explain what is happening to the face stalkers.
I found it difficult to understand the whole complexion thing about the milk and marble. I didn’t know what he went when he said milk looked like chalk and marble looked like concrete. I know he was talking about skin but I didn’t understand what the real problem was nor did I completely get his answer to fixing it.
