Wallace:
In
this article or speech I don’t know what to call it. The speaker has a very
good point about what you pick today as your job will in fact become your life
and so if you want to love life and live it to the fullest you should pick
something you love. My art teacher always said to me “Find something you love,
make it your job, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” My art
teach was right just like the speaker in this reading. If you pick something you
don’t love you wont be living you will be stuck in a routine that you are to
scared to get out of. I think its smart to talk to college students about this
because many students pick there career depending on how much money they can
make. This is not smart because you will wind up living life as a dead man. I
have defiantly taken the advice of my art teacher and found something I love to
do and now while in college pursuing my education towards what I love so that
when I graduate I can make it my job.
I would say I found anything problematic with this read. I
really liked it and think that a lot of college and even high school students should
read this before making a huge decision like “what you want to do for the rest
of your life”. I know this two complete paragraphs but I wrote more in the
first paragraph that could basically count for two. I really did like this read
though!
